Hello everyone!
Are you ready for some reason?
The world could certainly use some right about now, don’t you think?
My name is The Scientific Skeptic or A Brain in a Vat but my friends sometimes call me Skep or even Brain.
That’s not because I’m real smart or anything. It’s only because I have somehow become a literal disembodied brain existing somewhere in the cosmos. I’m not exactly sure how I got here or even where I am but this is my home now and my laboratory where I like to write and create content for people who like reason and stuff like science and philosophy.
I was trained as an international economist and a political scientist but I’ve also spent a couple decades trying to become more literate across the gamut of the scientific and philosophical disciplines so I can hopefully at least represent some of our strongest consensus views on many of the most important and fundamental topics out there.

I look forward to interacting with you and hope you enjoy learning and having intellectual discussions. Those are two of my most favorite things to do.
